Personalized Parkinson Project PSP

The Personalized Parkinson Project (PPP) PSP cohort is a prospective, longitudinal, single-center cohort study, including 50 participants with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and 50 healthy controls. Of these participants, 50 are diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and 50 are gender and age matched healthy controls. All participants are 50 years or older.

Study design

Participants are followed for one year, and are visited twice at their own home. Outcomes include a clinical assessment (including motor and neuro-psychological tests) and collection of biospecimens (whole blood). Additionally, collection of physiological and environmental data in daily life over the study year will be enabled through the Verily Study Watch.
